A 1970s front room at dusk: a gas fire glowing orange, a wooden sideboard with a small television and a vase of carnations, framed pictures on the wall and a lit standard lamp.
The front room with the lamp on, rendered in the game's path tracer.

A game where you sit helplessly at home watching news about the Rage virus outbreak until it inevitably reaches you.

It is September 2002 and you are 85, at home in your flat. You choose your town at the start. From then on the story reaches you through the television, as news bulletins and Ceefax pages, while the outbreak spreads towards you.

The game runs in real time and lasts about an hour and forty minutes if you pick somewhere safe. It is significantly shorter if you pick Cambridge. There is a lot of simulation going on behind the scenes, for example, the audio is path traced and the CRT tv is an actual physical simulation of electrons hitting a phosphor screen. Look around with the mouse, or by dragging on a touchscreen, and click your lap to use the remote.

Mario’s Mask

Play Majora’s Mask as Mario.

You get a new transformation mask, the Brother’s Mask. Put it on and Link turns into Mario.

This isn’t just a raw conversion. I’ve added new interactions for Mario and all of Links items, let you change the sound font and music to mario independantly, and there are plenty of secrets to be found.
